Our History
When the Fantasyland Hotel first opened in 1986, there were
five original theme room styles that guests could choose
from the Hollywood, Roman, Polynesian, Truck and Victorian
Coach. Over the years, with the addition of the Canadian
Rail, Arabian, African, Igloo, Western and Waterpark theme
rooms, the hotel now has a total of 120 theme rooms in
11 different styles.
2005 ALTO Award Winner
As a partner in Anderson Vacations "Perfect FIT" marketing
partnership, Fantasyland Hotel is proud to be recognized as
one of the recipients of the 2005 Alberta Tourism Award for
Consortium Achieving Exceptional Tourism Marketing.
FACT: Over 3.5 million guests have stayed at the Fantasyland
Hotel since it opened its doors in 1986.
